Standard fees:

$150 for 60 minute sessions (53-60 minutes)

$100 for 45 minute sessions (38-52 minutes)

$70 for 30 minute session (16 to 37 minutes)

Session time is based on patient needs, insurance coverage, and medical necessity (determined by diagnosis and standard interventions).

Due to current insurance contracts, I cannot offer a sliding scale at this time.

Accepted payment types:

I accept Cash, check, and all major credit cards.

Insurance options:

Coverage varies greatly, but my services may be covered in part or in full by your insurance provider. Please contact your health insurance plan to learn more about what your plan covers. Below are some questions that are helpful to ask:

  • Do my insurance benefits include mental health services?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Will I be required to pay a copay?
  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions per year my plan covers?
  • What is my deductible?
  • Do I need to get approval from my primary care physician?
  • For telehealth: do I have to use a specific vendor, or can the provider use their own telehealth platform (I currently use Doxy.me).
  • For telehealth: Do I have any in-person requirements (first session may need to be in person, once a year in-person requirement, etc.)

If you are potentially interested in pursuing sessions, we would also do an eligibility inquiry with your insurance prior to our first session, to determine what your coverage may be for psychotherapy.

Cancellations:

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make your appointment. If you miss your appointment and fail to notify us, we may bill you $25.00. For late cancels (less than 24 hour notice), the late cancel fee may be $20.00.

No Surprises Act

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost if you are not using insurance. Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the costs for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
